County and state fairs are a must during Wisconsin summers. Here are a few Can’t-Miss Fairs This July & August!
Since 1842, county and district fairs have brought together communities, celebrated agricultural heritage, and offered good old-fashioned fun for the whole family. This summer, we invite you to hit the road and rediscover what makes Wisconsin’s rural communities so vibrant. Whether you’re enjoying a demo derby under the stars or biting into a buttery ear of corn, every fair visit supports local farms, small businesses, and youth agricultural programs like 4-H and FFA.

Lodi Agricultural Fair | July 10–13
The Lodi Agricultural Fair has something for everyone—and it’s completely free! No gate fees, no exhibitor fees, and no stalling fees. Meet our 4-H, FFA, and other youth exhibitors as they proudly present projects in beef, swine, sheep, dairy, rabbits, and poultry. Wander through the Junior, School, and Open Class buildings, where over 2,000 entries—from artwork to woodworking—are on display. Bring your appetite! From sweet to savory, our fair food selection is a must-try. Thrill-seekers can enjoy a whole carnival with rides for all ages (don’t forget to check for pre-fair discounts!). As the sun sets, the grandstand comes alive with rodeos, demolition derbies, and Truck & Tractor Pulls—plus live music the whole family will enjoy.
Green County Fair | July 16–20
The very first Green County Fair took place in November 1853 in Monroe, WI, and by 1909, it had already become one of the most successful fairs of its first century. That year introduced several exciting “firsts,” including the debut of a carnival, a night fair, and iconic rides like the Ferris Wheel and Merry-Go-Round. Entertainment ranged from Wild West shows and theatrical performances to the unforgettable human roulette wheel. Fast forward to 2025—join us for a modern twist on tradition with a classic car show, scavenger hunt, full rodeo, live music, and all your favorite fair foods. History meets excitement at the Green County Fair—you won’t want to miss it!
Polk County Fair | July 24–27
This year’s theme: “Picture Yourself at the Polk County Fair!” Located in St. Croix Falls, WI, this fair offers free parking and grandstand events. Enjoy four days of rides, food, exhibits, and live shows. Tickets are just $10 for ages 8+, and kids 7 and under get in free.
Ozaukee County Fair | July 30 – August 3
Since 1859, the Ozaukee County Fair has been a cherished tradition, uniting generations with classic fair fun. From live music and thrilling truck & tractor pulls to a bustling midway, fireworks, demolition derbies, horse shows, contests, and 4-H livestock exhibitions and judging. There’s something for everyone, including plenty of entertainment for the kids!
Pierce County Fair | August 7–10
Feel the thrill of roaring engines and hometown pride at the Pierce County Fair! From tractor, truck, and horse pulls to an action-packed demo derby and a wide variety of exhibits in the iconic Round Barn, there’s no shortage of excitement. Don’t forget to nominate someone special—our Most Admired Senior Citizen (ages 60+).
