Wisconsin Farm Festivals

From the first blooms of spring to the bounty of fall, Wisconsin’s farm festivals showcase the beauty, flavors, and traditions that make the state’s agricultural heritage so special. These events invite visitors to explore vibrant farms, enjoy fresh flavors, and take part in unique celebrations rooted in the land.

Beaver Dam Pepper Festival – Beaver Dam, WI

Taking place on September 13, the Beaver Dam Pepper Festival honors the Hungarian heirloom pepper with a spicy lineup of food, drinks, and festivities. From pepper brats and chili to pepper beer and pies, the menu is as bold as the atmosphere. Contests, live music, dancing, and games round out this flavorful tribute to a local agricultural treasure.

National Historic Cheesemaking Center – Monroe, WI
Join the National Historic Cheesemaking Center on September 20 as they celebrate their 30th anniversary with a full day of family fun and entertainment. Guests can step back in time with an old-fashioned copper kettle cheesemaking demonstration at 10 a.m., then stay to enjoy live music, delicious eats from food trucks, and festive activities for all ages. It’s a perfect way to experience the rich dairy heritage that has shaped Wisconsin’s farming traditions.

LondonDairy Alpaca Ranch – Two Rivers, WI
Visitors to LondonDairy Alpacas during National Farm Alpaca Days September 27 & 28 will enjoy a weekend filled with unique experiences. Guests have the chance to interact with alpacas up close, take memorable photos, and even feed the alpacas and llamas for just a dollar. Adults can enjoy the complimentary South American wine tasting, while families explore the farm and shop the Alpaca Threads store. The event offers a perfect blend of fun, learning, and local charm, making it a highlight of the fall season in Two Rivers.

Lake Nokomis Cranberry Festival – Eagle River, WI

In the heart of cranberry country, this autumn festival takes place October 2-5 and is all about celebrating the harvest. Fresh cranberries, craisins, baked goods, and cranberry-inspired drinks fill the Vilas County Fairgrounds and downtown Eagle River. Beyond the berries, visitors can enjoy arts and crafts, antiques, a farmer’s market, and live entertainment, making it a perfect fall getaway to experience one of Wisconsin’s most iconic crops.

Together, these festivals capture the essence of Wisconsin agriculture—connecting visitors to the land, the harvest, and the traditions that grow from them. Whether it’s the delicate petals of spring flowers or the bold flavors of fall, each celebration offers a unique way to experience the state’s farming heritage.
